APRIL 4TH-- INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR MINE AWARENESS

 WE ARE OUR OWN SUICIDE BOMBERS

It's always an ugly scene; cold red blood mixed with hot yellow fire, tears gushing, skin peeling, human parts flying here and there,Terror everywhere. . . The scenes that follow a suicide bomber's attack are mental scars that stick with people for a life time.

APRIL 2ND-- INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S BOOK DAY

THE BOOK GRAVEYARD

On the busy walkway with my ten fingers locked like a closed zip;Placed behind my head, i stand with a face really rumpled because I just realized I forgot to pick up my book i dropped on the dashboard of a taxi i boarded...and i'd gotten off the taxi almost 5 minutes ago GUSH! 'what was i thinking?' I scream silently in my head.

I wonder how much a human beign would cost now. Just imagine you're asked to sell yourself, how much will be on your pricetag? I'm sure nothing Less than a couple of Zillion dollars. Nobody wants to be cheap

IT'S RAINING ROCKS AND STONES

What would you do if you hear a very big bang right now. . .BOOOOOOOM!!. So loud that the shock wave that follows smashes all your windows and all the glass cups in your Kitchen cabinet. And your phone network trips off, as the foundation of your house begins to shake. . .probably you'd run outside or under your bed.(haha)

MARCH 14TH--INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION FOR RIVERS

AS YOU MAKE YOUR RIVER BED, SO SHALL YOU LIE

It was like hurricane Katrina all over again, the water just kept rising--from ankles to knees to chest--and we felt it was a joke. It swallowed communities in the south states;Bayelsa,Rivers,Akwaibom. And when those far from the Atlantic were breathing a sigh of relief;Niger,Benue,etc got affected too. According to CNN,about 21 states were affected. People lost their farms, farms lost their crops,and crops lost their farmers.snakes,crocodiles and fishes were left homeless too. It was a huge disaster. And right now with the relief material we've donated,we are 'patting ourselves on the back' thinking its all over. . .do you think its over?

this is poetry
that good old boring poetry
but before you shut your nose and your eyes start snoring
i just want to remind you that, poetry is still boring
